These quick and easy 2-ingredient bagels require no yeast, no rising time, and are ready in just 30 minutes. Made with Greek yogurt and self-rising flour, they’re a healthier and hassle-free alternative to traditional bagels.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 1-2 minutes until smooth. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour.
Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a rope and connect the ends to form a bagel shape.
Place the bagels onto the prepared baking sheet. Brush with egg wash if using and sprinkle with desired toppings.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. For extra crispiness, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end.
Let the bagels cool slightly before serving. Enjoy fresh or toasted!
Notes
For a gluten-free version, use a gluten-free self-rising flour blend. To add flavors, mix cinnamon and raisins for a sweet version or garlic and cheese for a savory twist.
