Jasmine or long-grain white rice

chicken broth

Instructions
In a medium saucepan, bring the chicken broth (or water) to a boil.
Add the rice, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until the rice is tender (about 15 minutes).
Remove from heat and stir in butter until melted.
Mix in shredded cheddar cheese and milk, stirring until smooth and creamy.
Season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of smoked paprika or cayenne pepper. You can also add cooked veggies like broccoli for a nutritious twist!
