Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 loaf ciabatta bread sliced in half
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for toasting
  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese fresh
  • 2 ripe tomatoes sliced
  • 6 fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp pesto sauce
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Drizzle olive oil on both halves of the ciabatta bread and toast lightly on a grill pan or panini press until golden and crispy.
  • Spread pesto sauce evenly on the bottom half of the toasted bread.
  • Layer fresh mozzarella slices, tomato slices, and basil leaves on top of the pesto.
  • Drizzle balsamic glaze over the layers and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Close the sandwich, press gently, and slice into portions before serving warm.

Notes

For a crunchier bite, brush the outside of the ciabatta with butter before grilling. Try adding grilled chicken or avocado for extra protein and flavor.
