Classic Braised Beef Cheeks

Ingredients
  

  • 2 beef cheeks trimmed
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 2 carrots diced
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan and sear the beef cheeks on both sides.
  • Remove the meat and sauté onions, garlic, and carrots until soft.
  • Add crushed tomatoes, broth, and thyme. Stir well.
  • Return the beef cheeks to the pot, cover, and simmer on low for 3–4 hours.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes or rice for a comforting meal.
