Ingredients
  

Banana Bread

  • 3-4 ripe bananas Brown spots or fully brown peel preferred
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Can substitute with gluten-free or whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar Can substitute with honey, maple syrup, or a sugar substitute
  • 1 large egg For binding and moisture

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth with a fork or potato masher.
  • Add the sugar, flour, and egg to the mashed bananas. Gently mix until combined, avoiding overmixing.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
