Ingredients
  

Casserole Base

  • 3 cups shredded chicken rotisserie or cooked
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper or to taste

Topping

  • 1 cup buttery crackers crushed (like Ritz)
  • 3 tbsp butter melted
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, cottage cheese, and cream of chicken soup.
  • Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  • In a separate bowl, combine crushed buttery crackers with melted butter.
  • Sprinkle the cracker mixture evenly over the casserole. Optionally, top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  • Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For a healthier version, use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream, and low-fat cottage cheese.
