Garlic Butter Shrimp

lb
large shrimp
peeled and deveined
4
tbsp
unsalted butter
melted

cloves
garlic
minced
1/2
tsp
paprika

tbsp
lemon juice
freshly squeezed

tbsp
fresh parsley
chopped
salt and pepper
to taste
Instructions
Place melted butter, minced garlic, paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low heat for 2-3 hours to infuse the flavors.
During the last 20-30 minutes, add the peeled and deveined shrimp. Stir to coat with the butter sauce.
Cook until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook.
Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately over rice, pasta, or with crusty bread.
Notes
For extra richness, add red pepper flakes for a bit of heat or a splash of white wine to the butter sauce before slow cooking.
